It has come to our attention that one of our “V Belt” competitors is being mischievous by trying to way-lay our PIX stockist regarding the reliability of the future supply of PIX belts given the recent sale of the PIX “hydraulics hose division” to Parker Hannifin.
For the record - PIX Transmissions Ltd India sold their “hydraulics hose division” to Parker Hannifin in July this year, as they found the manufacture of hose was nowhere near as commercially lucrative as their core product being the belts. This move will now allow PIX to focus on not just better deliveries that we were hurting from of late, but further expand their belt range. We have already seen positive signs in both these areas.
For all those “hydraulic hose” customers of ours that may have some doubts about future supply. PIX Transmissions Ltd will maintain total control of ALL sales of the PIX hydraulic hoses for the next 3 years. PIX Transmissions Ltd cannot see too many radical changes by Parker Hannifin after the interim 3 year period, given the PIX brand name is fairly well established in a positive way in the global market.
